Genesis Recycling Ltd., based in Aldergrove B.C., is the only national electronics recycling company in Canada. It annually processes in excess of 200,000 end-of-life computers and recovers thousands of tonnes of resources while diverting toxic and hazardous materials, such as lead, mercury, cadmium and brominated flame retardants, from our landfills. |

Collecting and recycling end-of-use computer equipment is not an add-on for Genesis; it is the primary business of the company. Since commencing business in 1994, Genesis has developed a made-in-B.C. solution to Canada's growing stockpile of end-of-use electronics, estimated by Environment Canada to be more than 70,000 tonnes in 2005. |
